a loud grunt escaped from a young male’s pale pink lips as he felt his back impact harshly against the passenger door of a random car while he struggled to overpower the son of the bitch who dared to do this to him. he had been chasing this particular bastard for weeks but he always managed to weasel his way and escape from him but not this time! a curse escaped from ryuichi’s lips as the shorter male then took off after punching him on the side of his jaw. the little shit. he yelled as he pushed himself off the car while spitting out the metallic, crimson blood onto the ground. fucker was going to get it.
oh, he was going to enjoy getting his hands on that little twerp’s neck and snapping it clean off. well, not literally of course seeing that he was a police officer. yes, that’s right, a police officer. albeit a rookie cop at that but still. ryuichi never bothered to remember the names of the creeps that he was chasing after only because they didn’t deserve to have names like the scumbags they were. this particular one was wanted for domestic abuse. he beat on women which was something that ryuichi detested the most. those who beat on women were cowards, they didn‘t deserve to live. end of.
but it wasn‘t like ryuichi could be the judge and executor. he may have had his own opinions and often voiced it out loud but at the end of the day, it was his job to put those behind bars. preferably for life. as ryuichi took off after the perpetrator, he never registered the fact that he was in any kind of pain as crimson blood continuously dripped from his right hand which had been stabbed a short while ago with a small knife but then again, ryuichi never reacted much when he felt pain -- besides he had a high pain tolerance. he hated to run because that meant that he would sweat. and the fucker was making him run.
oh how ryuichi seriously hated to run but then again, he could thank his lucky stars that he was quite fit considering how he boxed part time. which meant that he was definitely catching up to the male quite easily. seriously, he had him within his reach and he did reach out to grab hold of him until some fucker decided to play a practical joke on him and got into his way so that meant that ryuichi ended up slamming into the male that got into his way. for all he knew the perpetrator probably threw him into ryuichi’s way but like he cared about that. the point was, he lost him. that’s right, he lost him.
ryuichi was wearing a white shirt which had a few buttons unbuttoned, a light grey suit jacket in which the sleeves were rolled up to the elbow joint and a pair of dark blue denim jeans. upon his feet, he had on white sneakers. a grunt escaped from the young male’s lips as he was literally laid upon the ground, on top of the unknown male. his pants were probably heard audibly to the male he was on top of as his lips were near his ear, just barely brushing against them. a light growl escaped from ryuichi as he struggled to push himself off the warm body underneath him. but eventually he managed to get up.
what in the hell had just happened? as far as the young male knew, he had been chasing after the perpetrator and the next thing he realised, he was down onto the ground on top of somebody else. today was not his day. fate was sure being a bitch to him today, he knew that she hated his guts and in return he hated her guts as well. by the time that ryuichi stood up, he couldn’t see the fucker anywhere and he knew that he was gone. he continued to pant until slowly he got his breath back and swore out loud using a loud voice in a language that was not his own. fuck! this was just great, just fantastic.
gritting his teeth, ryuichi leaned down and grabbed hold of the male and roughly yanked him up and body slammed him against the nearest car, not caring if the car’s alarm went off. his chest heaved heavily due to the anger he could feel coursing throughout his body as he stared at the male intensively. he never said a word as he stared down this person, speechless at first on how to get his words out. how could this idiot screw up his entire plans, dammit, he was just about to taste sweet victory but that was taken from him. with an annoyed grunt, he slammed the male against the car once again.
“you…fu…argh…”

He'd just finished the shift at his part time job, a grocery store not too far from his apartment. He'd changed out of the uniform and into a pair of red jeans, a patterned black and white t-shirt, and a black casual suit jacket. The outfit was what a Westerner would call "something-only-an-asian-could-pull-off". His manager had given him that exact comment, on many occasions. Soleil wasn't sure if he should consider it a compliment, or an insult. Maybe a conbination of both...
He shrugged lightly at the thought as he made his way along the sidewalk, his wallet stuffed into the back pocket of his pants, and two plastic bags hanging from his right hand --containing some groceries he'd picked up after his shift to take home, along with his work uniform. Soleil was in a rather pleasant mood, better than some days, that was for sure.
It was getting colder, but not unbearably so. November however, was bound to be quite chilly. Soleil tightened the jacket around himself at the thought, then laughed lightly under his breath. He hadn't run into any fae for some weeks now, so maybe they'd given up on him. Not likely, but he liked to convince himself of it enough to have a good day. Today was a good day. His shift had been short, no one had laughed at him, he hadn't been called a fag, and there had been no complaints about any of the groceries at the store.
He whisteled to himself as he waited to cross the street, and when the light turned green, he made his way across to the other side using the crosswalk, a slight hop in his step. Soleil then made a turn, moving onto a street that was a little less lively. Less people around this time of day. He only had one more turn before he would reach his apartment building.
Then around the corner came a man, his expression one of fear and anger. He took a hold of Soleil's arms and flung him back and to one side. He wasn't given one moment to recover from the first shock when he was suddenly hit --quite litterally-- by the second. His body collided with another, and they tumbled onto the pavement. Soleil was pinned, and he was laying there, the air having been forced from his lungs, his eyes wide in shock. His wings had been glamoured to be invisible to others, but they were still there, sprouting form his back, and it hurt to lie on them --especially with the weight of another body added to his own.
Before he could clear his head, the person got off of him and stood. Soleil looked up to see a young male standing above him, and he blinked a few times. He made to sit up, but befre he could do so, the other male picked him up. His lips parted to thank him, but the words stopped in his throat as he was pushed into a car that had been parked close to them. The alarm shrilled loudly, only adding to his confusion, his disorientation. He was pulled forward and then slammed into the car again, the air bursting from his lungs. Soleil shut his eyes for a moment. Was he being attacked by some gang member or something? Should he try to defend himself? Or was this just some upset citizen, taking his anger out on him because he was the most available? His head was spinning. He really didn't know.
His eyes opened and he looked at the other male, his emotions bare on his face; confusion, disorientation, pity, and a little bit of fear.

needless to say, there were various emotions that flickered across the young man’s face such as anger, disbelief, frustration, annoyance, pissed off -- pretty much the negative emotions. it was the understatement of the year that ryuichi was pretty much not in a good mood. when he realised that the man he had slammed against the car was staring at him in a rather timid way, it only served to annoy him the more. the young male’s jaw was tense rigid due to the fact that he had gritted his teeth as he glanced up toward the sky as if kami-sama had cursed him for the millionth time. oh the irony of all the shit he had.
he was sure he was laughing at him. nothing ever went right in his life but did he linger about obsessing over that? hell no he didn’t, if anything he would spent a few moments fuming then he would simply move on. it wasn’t that he was pissed off with soleil for preventing him from catching the male that he was after, it was more at the male that he was angry at -- he had pretty much put a citizen in danger, what if ryuichi had pulled out his gun attempting to shoot at the bastard? -- he would have shot at him instead -- he actually had been about to pull out his gun but thankfully hesitated for a split second.
ryuichi ran both of his hands through his strikingly red hair, messing it up further as he took a deep breath -- closing his eyes as he did so -- in order to calm his temper down. it was one of his many bad habits as he cursed underneath his breath in a foreign language. it took him a few minutes to calm himself down somewhat before he walked over to the male and pulled him off the car, kicking at it in a harsh manner, causing the car alarm to stop going off in that annoyingly shrill sound. he knew all the tricks, this was due to when he was younger, he used to be on the streets quite a lot so he learned a trick or two.
he glanced at the male who seemed to be wearing a pair of red jeans, a patterned black and white t shirt with a black casual suit jacket on top. he still had that stupid look on his face, which caused ryuichi to mentally roll his eyes as he glanced at the ground to see two plastic bags laying on the sidewalk which had a few groceries spilled out. cursing to himself, ryuichi walked over to where the plastic bags were and squatted down -- he then started to pick up the groceries and put them inside their bags. he figured seeing that it was his fault, he needed to pick them up himself -- after all he was the one to blame right?
once ryuichi picked up the groceries, he stood up and picked up the two plastic bags and pretty much shoved them onto soleil’s chest. it was almost if he was attempting to say sorry without vocalising it. the young male hoped that he had better accept his unsaid apology because he had never been one to say sorry to anyone -- besides, actions spoke more than words right? it hadn’t been soleil’s fault that ryuichi couldn’t get the one he was after. besides, the bastard flung him into ryuichi’s direction in an desperate attempt to slow the rookie cop down and for himself to get as far away as possible quickly. it worked.
a grunt escaped from ryuichi’s pale pink lips as he glanced over at the asian male -- he figured that he wasn’t japanese, he didn’t look like one. he got away lightly with him. the young male rolled his neck and shoulders in order to attempt to relieve his tense muscles before he bowed his head sharply to soleil. it was then that he turned around, on his heels and went to walk off -- albeit in an frustrated mood. he had to go all the way back to where he left his motorbike. fuck, today had to be the crappiest day he ever had so far. He then finally noticed his injured hand and just simply flicked the blood onto the ground.
eh, fuck it. he could take care of that when he get to his apartment. it wasn’t as if he registered the pain at all, it didn’t bother him due to his high tolerance. besides, it didn’t need taking care of straightaway. occasionally, he flexed his hand as he walked in a leisurely manner -- it wasn’t as if he had to go to the police station -- he was off duty after all. in other words, it was his day off. his frustration must have showed upon his face because the crowd of people seemed to avoid him. however, ryuichi frowned a little as he had this feeling like he was being followed so, he turned around. what the fuck…

The male reached for him again and Soleil closed his eyes, expecting to be slammed again or even punched in the face. He was too confused to react. Besides he didn't know how to fight, but he supposed he had more physical strength than one of his size would if they were human. But he couldn't show such stregth, even in an almost empty alleyway. He feared that there was one or more fae near by and they'd sense him. Then the jig would be over. Queen Ellylon would probably have him executed for desering his people in a time of war. Being caught by his fellow fae was out of the question, so he stayed where he was, his eyes closed.
In stead of being hurt again however, Soleil was pulled off the car, and he opened his eyes in time to see the other male kick the car. The shrill sound of the alarm stopped abruptly and the silenece in the alley was suddenly quite heavy. Soleil wanted to rub his ears. He hoped his glamour wouldn't slip due to his feelings of confusion...
He felt one of his ears, wonderig if the pointy tips showed. The glamour felt as if it was tightly in place, he shouldn't worry. His eyes went to the other male again and he found him crouching down, picking up the groceries that has spilled out of the plastic bags when they'd tumbled to the ground. Soleil felt his cheeks warm a little at the combination of remembering the other's body on top of his and the the fact that the other male was picking up the spilled groceries.
That action alone was apology enough in Solei's books, so when the bags were handed to him he took them and gave the other male a slow nod, thanking him.
Then he saw the blood covering the grocery bags. His eyes flew to the male's hand an his mouth made a surprised 'o'. The male walked away, shaking his hand, some blood dripping to the pavement. Soleil could just let him leave the wound unbound, no no. Not after Ryu had been nice enough to pick up his spilled groceries.
Soleil hurried after him, his eyes wide. How was he going to go about this? He didn't yet know, but he wasn't going to let the other male ouf of his sight. They exited the alley and they almost plunged into a crowd of people. Maybe the car's alarm had drawn them all? Silly. He hurried his steps, and then stopped when the other male looked over his shoulder, looking not at all pleased to see him.
"Ahh..your hand. It's bleeding..."
He bit his lip. That had sounded so dumb!
"You couldn't get that guy cause of me...um let me make it up to you. Can I bind your hand?"
He then chewed on his full lower lip, watching him almost timidly as he waited for a response. Soleil was accustomed to being abused, so he was expecting to be yelled at or even kicked.

ryuichi never noticed the fact that he had somewhat alerted soleil that he was injured due to the blood covering the two plastic bags that held the groceries. at least he had the decency to acknowledge the fact that he had bowed his head to him -- he even returned it. so this world wasn’t entirely full of ungrateful bastards after all. When the young male turned around to find out who had been following him, his brown eyes widened slightly as he recognised the person to be the male who he had encountered a few moments ago. what the hell -- why was he following him of all people? wasn’t he basically asking for a death wish or something? this dude sure had the guys to follow him especially in this mood.
the young male raised his right eyebrow when he heard the other male stating about his hand. he glanced down and flexed his hand contemplating the fact that soleil had actually noticed his injury, he had probably noticed it before he even did. he wondered though, just why he was so concerned about it until his silent question had been somewhat answered. eh? he wanted to make it up by binding his hand up? ryuichi couldn’t help but become somewhat suspicious about soleil’s intentions. it wasn’t as if it was his fault that his hand had been injured, it happened before they slammed into one another. the redhead let out a heavy sigh as he turned around to fully face the asian male -- sneering as he did so.
”of course it‘s bleeding, it was stabbed.”
wait, why the fuck was he standing here, explaining to him when he didn’t need to? perhaps it was the way that man was acting, all timid and shit -- oh don’t tell him that he was one of those puppy dog kind -- the type that believed that they were at fault for everything? ryuichi let out an annoyed sigh which was directed at himself before he simply waved soleil away as if to say go away kid before he turned his back to the male and started to walk off once again. an emotionless laugh escape from his pale pink lips as he remembered that the male stated that it was bleeding. naturally. seriously, what alerted him to that fact -- oh was it perhaps the blood that showed? give the man a goddamn prize.
he sure had fantastic observation skills to have made that comment. but the fact that he had been even concerned about him seemed to have unnerved ryuichi. nobody had ever been that concerned about him like that, and he didn’t like that unknown emotion that seemed to be conflicting within him. he didn’t like emotions like that which was why he preferred to be a total bastard to other people. he didn’t like them trying to get closer to him, because if they did the he would unwittingly let them into his heart. he didn’t like the idea of that. meh, seeing that he had dismissed soleil, he figured that he went back to wherever he was headed to. as for ryuichi, he was just making his way back to his motorbike.
”this fucking sucks.”
a loud sigh of frustration escaped from the young male’s pink lips as he continued to walk until he saw his motorbike, only then did his mood somewhat lift. today seriously fucking sucked balls for him. literally. but there was no helping it -- all he had to do was to suck it up and just live for another day right? besides, there was always tomorrow. it was another day, another time right? and who knew, perhaps he would catch the bastard this time. with the thought that bastard, ryuichi couldn’t help but grit his teeth, tensing his jaw line as he curled both of his hands into tight fists, not caring if he was injuring his bad hand any further.
argh, he had to forget all this shit -- with that bastard and with his interaction with that dude. with an irritated sigh, ryuichi lifted the helmet from the left handle bar and picked it up. he then placed it upon his head and lifted up the shield as he put the key into the ignition and twisted it, feeling the machine beneath him rumble to life. this was why he liked having a motorbike, he liked the feel of riding something that was powerful -- something that could potentially kill him in the end. he never feared death -- it was almost as if death feared him instead. ryuichi got into a readying position and was about to ride off on his bike. however, something had prevented him from doing so. and that something was none other than...

Soleil worked hard to keep his face the same and not flinch as the other male snapped at him. It was bleeding because it'd been stabbled. Well he hadn't know that, he just knew it was bleeding and it looked painful. The other male didn't seem like the type to go to the hospital, he seemed like one of those 'i'll-just-tough-it-out' guys. Soleil wouldn't have it. It would only get more painful if it got infected!
Ryu turned away from him and started walking again. Soleil bit his lower lip, considering, then a determined look crossed his face and he hurried after the other male. His jaw was set, and his eyes openly displayed one of his outstandting characteristics: stubborness. Had he not been stubborn or had a back bone, Soleil would have stayed at the Argentum court forever, taking insult after insult until he broke. He nearly shuddered at the though. He'd been the happiest since leaving the court, though he missed the glamour and magic of it all at times, he was doing well without the insults.
He watched with dark eyes as the other male got approached a motorcycle, then got onto it and prepared to leave. Soleil winced as he imagined Ryu's bloody hand pressing to the steering handles of the vehicle. There was no way he was heading to the hospital! Soleil was extremely sure of it for some reason. His lips pressed together in disapproval, and he shook his head, mainly to himself, the small ponytail in the back swinging back and forth. Nope, not on his watch.
Moving completely on impulse, Soleil hurried forward, and climbed onto the bike behind the other male. His mind hadn't caught up to his actions until he was sitting behind Ryu, one grocery bag in each hand. Well shit. But he wasn't going to look like an idiot and get off the bike. Soleil bit his lip for a moment, then frowned, then cleared his expression.
"I'm going to take care of that hand."
This time there was no hint of defeat or anything weak about his tone. His voice held determination, letting the other male that he would not budge. They'd drawn an audience, but he kept his head facing forward, trying to ignore them.

of course, it was fairly obvious that the young male had absolutely no intentions of going to the local hospital in order to treat his wounds. he fucking hated them, they were surrounded by the smell of death. if you walked into the hospital, the stench would follow you around and cling to your clothes, suffocating your lungs -- that was the reason why he hated going to the hospital. out of all the people that ryuichi had ever met, he didn’t think that there had been anyone who was willing to take his moods and still be standing there -- following him around like a puppy dog following it‘s master -- not like soleil that was for sure. he was different, but ryuichi wasn’t sure whether this was a good or a bad thing especially when he was concerned. he didn’t get why he was so concerned about him.
he didn’t really understand why soleil was so concerned about him -- he was nothing to the guy, nothing special. just as he went to ride off, he was prevented when he felt someone clambering onto the back of his bike. nobody had ever dared to climb on the back behind him at all. he turned his head to glance over his left shoulder only to see that soleil had actually sat right behind him, holding each grocery bag in each hand. what the fuck? this bastard sure had the guts to do what he just did. a low growl escaped from ryuichi’s pale pink lips as if to warn him to get the fuck off his bike. however when soleil spoke, ryuichi knew that there was nothing weak in his tone of voice, it was held firm. a snort escaped from ryuichi before he took off the helmet and slammed it on soleil’s chest.
it was made clear to the other male that ryuichi wanted him to put the helmet on without even saying it. actions spoke louder than words didn’t it? well, the young male didn’t have a spare helmet, so in some sense he had to look out for soleil’s safety -- rather that he was safe should something happen than him. ryuichi stuck his lips out and let out a frustrated sigh as he turned his head facing the road, letting out a sneer to the male. seeing that soleil had drawn a crowd around them, observing just what was going on. he wouldn’t be surprised if they were coming up with conclusions of their own concerning them two. today was really shitty and this twerp was only aggravating him further -- surely he knew that right? what was with the i’m going to take care of that hand shit?
please, it was more like what a goddamn chick would say. fucking hell. ryuichi rolled his neck and his shoulders in order relieve some of the muscle tension he could feel and slightly leaned forward, starting the engine once again, having given ample enough time for soleil to put on the helmet. if he did, wonderful, if he didn’t, then it was his own fault if he fell off the bike. the wheels of the motorbike let out a loud screech as the vehicle took off in a pretty fast manner. the young male let out a yell of delight as he felt the wind blowing through his red hair, speeding up a little more, letting the adrenaline course through his body. it actually didn’t take long for him to pull up outside the building of his apartment, it wasn’t that far from the town centre. which was handy for his job really.
the building itself wasn’t really much to look at, if anything, it was barely noticeable. it was also situated near a rough area but he was well known. nobody would even dare to fuck around with ryuichi. there had been a few fights when he first arrived but other than that it was an alright area to live in. ryuichi simply switched the engine off, took the keys out and climbed off the motorbike and glanced over at soleil and couldn’t help but roll his eyes somewhat at the ridiculous image of those damn grocery bags. the young male sneered at him and turned his back to the asian male before making his way into the building. no doubt that he would follow him closely. it was also pretty good that this building had a good security system. all he had to do was to punch the five-digit code to get inside.

Of all the things he'd expected from the other male, being handed his one helmet hadn't been one of them. Soleil quickly took both grocery bags into one hand, and used the free one to push the helmet onto his head. After such an act of kindness --as he saw it-- Soleil couldn't bring himself to be more of a pain by demanding that Ryu be the one to wear the helmet, and not himself.
Mere moments after he'd shoved on the helmet, the other male started the motorcyle --Soleil trying not to think of Ryu's injured hand gripping the handle-- and they sped off. He'd heard whispers like damn asians and gay couple but had tried hard to ignore them. He didn't care. The crowd parted for them --though not out of courtesy, but more due to the fact that they'd be hit if they didn't move-- and the motorcycle sped up.
Soleil bit his lip to hold in a very un-man-like squeak. He held the groceries close to their side with his one hand, and unconsciously wrapped his free arm around Ryu. The other male's body was the only thing that didn't keep him from falling off the motorcycle. He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, then snapped them open again when the other male yelled. Solei's first paniced thought had been that they were about to crash and die horribly mangled deaths. But when they simply kept speeding down the road, he relaxed a little. Ryu's yell had been one of delight. A yell of frustration would have sounded differently...right?
The trip wasn't a long one, but to Soleil it felt like at least an hour. It'd been his first time on a motorcycle and he had to admit he was a bit shaken. The other male got off the bike, and Soleil hurried to get off, while at the same time trying not to lose his balance due to the weakness in his knees. He barely kept from making a fool of himself. With hurried steps Soleil went after the other male toward the somewhat mediocre apartment building. He took off the helmet and put it under his free arm, figuring that Ryu wouldn't want to leave it out on his bike to be stolen. He was slowly getting over the shock of the ride, and once the fear dissipated, his mind focused on what the other male's body had felt like under his arm.
He kept from blushing this time, quietly going with Ryu into the lobby of the building after the male typed in an access code. They took the elevator up and Soleil tried not to chew his lip as they stopped for Ryu to unlock his door. This was a little awkward, and he didn't usually go to other's houses like this, without even knowing their name. What if this guy was a rapist, or worse a murderer? Shit. Well if that was the case, he'd deal with it when he had to deal with it. For now, one thing at a time. He followed Ryu into the apartment and looked around.

don’t get him wrong, what he had done wasn’t an act of kindness -- hell no -- he just rather that he didn’t have a dead guy on his consciousness. but in some way, he was somewhat glad that the man sat behind him had taken the helmet from him which was good -- because he sure as hell wasn’t going to be sitting there forever holding the damn helmet to the guy’s chest. seriously, if he had even acted up about him wearing the helmet seeing that he was the driver -- he would have smashed the helmet onto the guy’s head just to make his point sink in. when soleil wrapped his arm around ryuichi’s waist, his stomach muscles tensed up slightly at the foreign feel of someone actually holding onto him. fucking hell.
this felt a little too close for ryuichi’s liking. however, after ryuichi climbed off his motorcycle, he had noticed how soleil had acted and couldn’t help but let out a low laugh underneath his breath. ah, so it had been his first time riding a bike huh -- a newbie ne? after they both got into the building, the young male took his annoying little problem with him to the elevator -- the damn thing had better be working. he definitely did not need it breaking down this time of day -- especially not after a day like this. and definitely not with him! needless to say, when ryuichi saw his front door, he couldn’t help but let out a small sigh of relief. when he glanced over toward at soleil as he took out the keys to the apartment, he let out an small sigh.
it was one of annoyance. all because he refused to let this stupid matter go. seriously, it wasn’t as if he was going to die a horrible death with an injured hand. just what the fuck was wrong with him though -- bringing someone like this person to his apartment? oh well -- if he did something that was out line, there was always his gun that he had with him. the dude seemed a little nervous though -- he should be. with a soft scoff underneath his breath, he unlocked the front door and opened it, letting soleil go inside first. this was due to the fact that he could lock the door behind him. this was canada after all, he didn’t exactly trust this country, not at night-time anyway. at least back in japan, he never used to lock his apartment. ryuichi closed the front door and locked it without a saying a word.
he knew that it would cause soleil to get the wrong idea but he didn’t give a fuck. this was his apartment, he was on ryuichi’s turf so he either accepted his rules or he could go take a god damn hike. a sigh escaped from his pale pink lips as he threw his keys onto the nearby table in the hallway around the same time he kicked off his shoes. he made his way into the small kitchen and took out his gun which still had the safety catch on and placed it on top of the refrigerator along with his police badge. he never wore a police uniform -- he always worn plain clothes. the young male opened up his refrigerator and took out a carton of milk -- he then took out a clean glass from the top cupboard and poured the milk into the glass. he quickly gulped the white liquid up and left the glass on the worktop.
it was then a meowing sound was heard and a rub along his shins signalled the fact that the other occupant who shared his home was evidently welcoming him back. ryuichi let out a smirk as he squatted down and grabbed the scruff of the black cat’s neck and lifted him up to his eye-level. chansu, you little shit. the young male lightly bumped his forehead against the feline’s nose and put him down onto the floor. it simply meowed and rubbed along his shins before making it’s way to wherever it came from. the damn cat used to be a stray until ryuichi rescued it against his better judgement. ever since then, the cat would often welcome it’s owner home. this was how they typically greeted one another.
ryuichi left soleil on his own to look around his apartment -- wasn’t much to look at, at least in his opinion. it was pretty basic but that was how he and the cat liked it anyway. the young redhead went into the bathroom leaving the door open, allowing him to hear where soleil was -- he was somewhat keeping an eye out for the stranger. a curse escaped from ryuichi’s pale pink lips as he glanced in the mirror. fucking hell, he looked as if he just finished a boxing event and came out the loser. he could see a bruise starting to form across his jaw where he had been punched earlier on. the young male started to take off his light grey suit, slightly wincing as the material caught on his hand. now that fucking hurt a little bit.
he then let it drop onto the laundry basket he kept in the corner of the bathroom. ryuichi rolled his neck and shoulders as he raised his uninjured hand to unbutton the buttons of the white shirt that he was wearing. underneath the white shirt, the young male was wearing dark grey tank top which somewhat covered his modesty so to speak. he threw the shirt on top of the laundry basket -- after that, he turned on the cold water tap and placed his hand underneath the streaming cold water. he gritted his teeth as he felt the stinging as the water washed his wound -- the water turned somewhat red -- almost pink. he waited until the wound was somewhat cleaned better before he switched off the cold water tap. all done.

don’t get him wrong, what he had done wasn’t an act of kindness -- hell no -- he just rather that he didn’t have a dead guy on his consciousness. but in some way, he was somewhat glad that the man sat behind him had taken the helmet from him which was good -- because he sure as hell wasn’t going to be sitting there forever holding the damn helmet to the guy’s chest. seriously, if he had even acted up about him wearing the helmet seeing that he was the driver -- he would have smashed the helmet onto the guy’s head just to make his point sink in. when soleil wrapped his arm around ryuichi’s waist, his stomach muscles tensed up slightly at the foreign feel of someone actually holding onto him. fucking hell.
this felt a little too close for ryuichi’s liking. however, after ryuichi climbed off his motorcycle, he had noticed how soleil had acted and couldn’t help but let out a low laugh underneath his breath. ah, so it had been his first time riding a bike huh -- a newbie ne? after they both got into the building, the young male took his annoying little problem with him to the elevator -- the damn thing had better be working. he definitely did not need it breaking down this time of day -- especially not after a day like this. and definitely not with him! needless to say, when ryuichi saw his front door, he couldn’t help but let out a small sigh of relief. when he glanced over toward at soleil as he took out the keys to the apartment, he let out an small sigh.
it was one of annoyance. all because he refused to let this stupid matter go. seriously, it wasn’t as if he was going to die a horrible death with an injured hand. just what the fuck was wrong with him though -- bringing someone like this person to his apartment? oh well -- if he did something that was out line, there was always his gun that he had with him. the dude seemed a little nervous though -- he should be. with a soft scoff underneath his breath, he unlocked the front door and opened it, letting soleil go inside first. this was due to the fact that he could lock the door behind him. this was canada after all, he didn’t exactly trust this country, not at night-time anyway. at least back in japan, he never used to lock his apartment. ryuichi closed the front door and locked it without a saying a word.
he knew that it would cause soleil to get the wrong idea but he didn’t give a fuck. this was his apartment, he was on ryuichi’s turf so he either accepted his rules or he could go take a god damn hike. a sigh escaped from his pale pink lips as he threw his keys onto the nearby table in the hallway around the same time he kicked off his shoes. he made his way into the small kitchen and took out his gun which still had the safety catch on and placed it on top of the refrigerator along with his police badge. he never wore a police uniform -- he always worn plain clothes. the young male opened up his refrigerator and took out a carton of milk -- he then took out a clean glass from the top cupboard and poured the milk into the glass. he quickly gulped the white liquid up and left the glass on the worktop.
it was then a meowing sound was heard and a rub along his shins signalled the fact that the other occupant who shared his home was evidently welcoming him back. ryuichi let out a smirk as he squatted down and grabbed the scruff of the black cat’s neck and lifted him up to his eye-level. chansu, you little shit. the young male lightly bumped his forehead against the feline’s nose and put him down onto the floor. it simply meowed and rubbed along his shins before making it’s way to wherever it came from. the damn cat used to be a stray until ryuichi rescued it against his better judgement. ever since then, the cat would often welcome it’s owner home. this was how they typically greeted one another.
ryuichi left soleil on his own to look around his apartment -- wasn’t much to look at, at least in his opinion. it was pretty basic but that was how he and the cat liked it anyway. the young redhead went into the bathroom leaving the door open, allowing him to hear where soleil was -- he was somewhat keeping an eye out for the stranger. a curse escaped from ryuichi’s pale pink lips as he glanced in the mirror. fucking hell, he looked as if he just finished a boxing event and came out the loser. he could see a bruise starting to form across his jaw where he had been punched earlier on. the young male started to take off his light grey suit, slightly wincing as the material caught on his hand. now that fucking hurt a little bit.
he then let it drop onto the laundry basket he kept in the corner of the bathroom. ryuichi rolled his neck and shoulders as he raised his uninjured hand to unbutton the buttons of the white shirt that he was wearing. underneath the white shirt, the young male was wearing dark grey tank top which somewhat covered his modesty so to speak. he threw the shirt on top of the laundry basket -- after that, he turned on the cold water tap and placed his hand underneath the streaming cold water. he gritted his teeth as he felt the stinging as the water washed his wound -- the water turned somewhat red -- almost pink. he waited until the wound was somewhat cleaned better before he switched off the cold water tap. all done.
