radella <3

this week was some tough shit. not only did radella ryme capture successfully and torture in multiple ways a perfectly innocent argentum fae, but she had released her just a couple days ago. in the swamp, of course, leaving her to find her own way back to civilization. rad had other priorities which did not involve ronja. rad had followed an easy path back to reality, entering the nature park and into the atra realm, where she felt most at home. the heavy silver chain still stained with blood thrown over her shoulder, her shirt and face splattered with crimson. curly brown locks spilled over her slightly bruised shoulders, but the karate-learned girlie did not much care about that.
her gait was easy, loose. one thing poor ronja had learned from rad: always, always stay loose and untensed. for reasons currently unknown, but hopefully rad would be able to demonstrate it on someone else really soon. the girl was abnormally pale, her long hair framing her heart-shaped face, light eyes seeming innocent but strangely cold, sarcastic and rude. rad had two gears: bitch and maniac. you can choose.
radella decided to halt beside a very large, thick oak tree, and took out her chain. where did she get this chain? why, on her torturing spree, of course! don't you have one?
rad hefted it, swinging it percisely so it cracked against the bark of the tree with sickly percision. using it like a hard, dummy person, she swiveled, and placed a roundhouse kick at its side. of course, pain exploded up her leg, but she boxed it away. ignore pain. don't let it own you. and she didn't. using the karate she had learned from an old man she had killed, she swung her leg again, understanding the pain and storing it inside her system, using it as amo. she cracked her hand down on the side of the tree, and then sprang upwards, using its branch to batter it with her shoes.
this was routine for her, using objects like a tree to practice on. clearly, her practice had paid off when she had tracked a fae much older than her, tortured her, and then set her free. it was a twisted world we live in, isn't it?

Danny's cold eyes flickered over the landscape before him, taking in everything. He was observant; people had to give him that. He was also a well known face among the atra, being responsible for many deaths and fights. It'd been his home since his birth and it would always stay that way, as per he was too vicious to live in the mortal world. They were just so... breakable. It was funny to Danny; the knowledge that he could crush their spines with one of his hands, feeling it crush and shatter in his grasp. At least with certain fae, getting to them was a challenge... Atra fae, at least. Argentum were just as breakable as mortals, with their morals.. The boy had his own morals too of course, like no domestic violence, hitting women... It was just a cruel thing to do. Sure, if it was a war he would, but generally.. Unless the person went after him first he'd leave it. He was a reserved kid; He'd been trained since he'd grown up as kind of a quiet, keep-to-himself kind of guy. But mainly because everytime he didn't something bad ended up happening and he ended up being abused even more. It was ridiculous; but yet it was the only lifestyle he'd known, being an atra.
The boy glanced down at his clothing, completely unscathed by the fact that there were blood spatters completely covering them. His dark, semi tight jeans had splatters on his thighs, and the bottom half of his white and blue striped polo. His shoes were soaked in blood and mud, to the extent that they were muddled and unable to see the real design that the original designers had placed on them. As he trudged through the forest, completely soaked, the boy had no interest on what people were thinking of him. He was murderer, that was for sure.. All the atra, and even the argentum knew that about him. It was a human tonight, that'd tried to pick a fight with him. He shrugged slightly; it was the human's loss.
As he continued, he stopped in his tracks as he heard the sounds of a tree being smacked. It was a curious sound, and when Danny started up again, he started walking even faster than before. It definitely couldn't be an Argentum fae, even they weren't stupid enough to go near the atra grounds, especially IN them, Humans, also... They were at least smart enough to know that the Nature Park were dangerous grounds, along with the Swmaps and the Beach. Practically all of Richmond was a dangerous place.. When the girl finally came into view, a smirk rose onto his face. It was a girl he'd seen around the court many times before, her name was Ra.... something like that. She'd' also gained a rep like his, for being quite vicious and violent. He leaned against a nearby tree and watched her pose and style, the way she hit in. Not necessarily in watching her, but watching the way she hit the tree, the way her body moved to hit in. He'd been trained in martial arts himself, and he had to admit; the girl had game. Danny chuckled inwardly as he saw the bloody chain.. Seems she'd been up to the same thing he had been, torturing people.
After a couple minutes of watching her, Danny strode over cockily and jumped up, yanking off a branch on the tree she'd been hitting. Examining it, he sighed. It was too fragile and breakable, he needed something sturdy. It wasn't even so much for a weapon, as to contain his boredom. He looked at the girl once again, green-blue eyes hidden beneath a cloud of amusement, long, dark lashes framing them. "I have to admit, you've got some skill." He said aloud, voice slightly husky, before flicking his blonde hair out of his face so he could see her. Now that he looked at her, he did realize that he'd seen her around a lot more than he'd thought. Oh well... She has to know me. He thought smugly, before glancing up at the sky, waiting.

radella was well aware of eyes watching her. it was that sixth-spidey-sense thing she had, because she could feel his gaze on her body before he decided to approach. she knew full well that he was an atra, simply for the fact that he had traveled so far into these lands. only a foolhardy mortal would traverse this topography, and argentum, she had to admit, were semi-smart enough to stay away. but rad was not phased by her little audience, but simply continued with her whapping until he approached her. she glanced at him out of the corner of her eyes and realized she had seen his face before, whether just milling about or actually up to something. she'd heard of him too, for he had built a nasty reputation in his wake. uhm...dave? danny, that was it. danny something or other.
as he closed in on her, she paused, her leg extended to kick the tree, while he jumped up and effortlessly tore off a large branch. she turned fully to him, hefting the chain over her shoulder, put her hands on her hips, cocked her head, and said, what the hell. she gestured to the tree. i was hitting that. she watched him icily for several more moments before she really got a look at him. he was drenched in blood and various other gunk, but he was cute, she had to admit. cute enough to get her attention, and strong, too.
she smirked at him as she heard his comment. i try, she replied, her voice cocky, much like his gait was. she glared at him as he glanced up at the sky, seemingly waiting for her to recognize him. but she wouldn't give anyone that satisfaction. but she was slightly curious why he had even come over here; she wasn't that interesting. and yet, she knew he had been watching her, whether because she was sexy or because he was interested in how she fought. either way, she was now officially pissed off. which was never a good thing.
but if she really thought about it, she realized she had seen him a lot, heard of him a lot. they both were known for the same things, and he obviously had just been out doing something similar to what she had been doing: they were both stained with crimson, in various areas. though she had used a chain and he had probably used his bare hands, but whatever.

There weren't really words that could describe Danny correctly.. Cruel, heartless? To be quite frank, there was just too many. The man was quite messed up in the head, and well, not many people beat him in that department. He was well aware of what everyone thought of him, and in all secrecy, it pleased him. There was an awful lot of respect for him, though out of fear or just plain respect he wasn't sure. Though that was in place, there were also a lot of people that hated him, but for good reason. No one was stupid enough really to go near Danny, though, just knowing he could probably tear their arms off if the need arose, or even the tiny wanting feeling arose within him. And to be honest, it was quite possible, if anything more possible with Danny than anyone else. He just... wasn't normal, to say the least.
His eyes narrowed so that they were just slits of green-blue daggers, but in more of an observant way. She was definitely familiar to him, but he only had to remember now. Ra... Rad.. Radella! That's what it was! A smug smirk went in place on his lips when he realized it, also not wanting to give her the satisfaction thinking that she'd of had the upper hand with knowing who each other were. Danny hated losing, practically more than anything. The one thing Danny hated more than losing? Not having the upper hand, or at least being equal. Of course, generally, he didn't need it, but it never hurt to have it. It was shameful to think that certain people NEEDED it to win, but then again.. Mortals were fools. Even with the upper hand they'd lose against fae, they were just too weak and humane. Humanity was a form of weakness, a form of weakness that most Atra fae didn't show. There was always the rare, odd occasion where ONE of them could show weakness, which normally ended up getting them killed.
It was slightly like one of the ex-kings from the Atra realm, where he'd been murdered by a solitary fae. It had been years ago, hell, probably near two hundred if not more, but it didn't seem like a hard thing to do. The man had gone power crazy... Danny had been young but he remembered it. He shook his head to clear it, trying not to remember. It didn't really help.. History was history and if the king had been stupid enough to get himself kille thne it was his fault, not Danny's. H ehadn't been a knight then, so it hadn't been as much of his duty to save him as it would've been now.
"What the hell. I was hitting that."
That brought a grin to Danny's face, which showed his white teeth and amused face. The boy was a dick, but the tree was fairly large, she could deal with it. It's not like he'd gone up and stood in front of her to block everything, he'd JUST ripped off a branch. Not even one she'd been using! Just a random branch upon the same tree.
"Poor baby," He said to her, cracking a smirk on his face after the grin faded. Toying with the branch in his hands, he broke off the sharp end of the branch and fiddled with it even more. It pricked his skin slightly, sending a tiny globule of blood dripping down his finger. It was fairly sharp, being able to pierce through his hard, trained skin. He'd been in so many fights it was quite shocking that anything could really.
"I try."
When the words left her mouth, her tone implied just how alike the two really were. Cocky, arrogant, just plain mean... That pretty much summed up everything Danny was in one sentence. His gait, the tone in her voice.. And though Danny wouldn't admit it, the girl was also pretty attractive. Half of the Atra, like Arethusa, could go overboard to the point it was slightly ridiculous. Of course he would never admit that, knowing that the Queen wouldn't be afraid to tear his head off from his neck, so the thought remained in his head quietly, burried in the back off with his other cruel and degrading thoughts. He wasn't the kind've person to make fun of others, especially his queen. It was his choice he was in the Atra court, and he knew that if he wanted to stay, he'd have to keep those thoughts to himself.
"It's... Radella, correct?"

radella only glared at him as she brought a grin to his lips. at his first statement, her eyebrow cocked and she smirked. she didn't respond though, because that would be stupid. why give him that satisfaction? why let him see that she was pleased to have him around her, paying attention to her? like she had just a few days before, she would test him, see if he was worth any of her attention/ his body was a 10, his personality so much like hers it hurt, but she needed to see some of his moves. without knowing how many ways he could twist himself, she wouldn't give him a second thought.
it's...radella, correct?
ooh, so the baby boy knew her name. point. he'd broken first. so that point was for rad, not danny. no, it's rebecca smime yunglow terri butterfly, but you can call me bec. she smirked up at his face, twisting the neon green highlight in her hair. she ran her tongue over her white teeth while she thought, watching as his facial expressions changed and altered as he watched her. maybe she was appealing to him? maybe not. but he was appealing to her, and thats all that rad really thought about.
you're danny, she said simply, and quirked her lips. her eyes glanced at the tree, and then back to danny, and she held out the thick, crimson-stained chain. take a whack at it, boy, she purred in her mind. she cocked her eyebrow, took his stick, and took a few steps back, gesturing from him to the tree.
test numero ono. danny's fighting skills. he would have to give this tree a whallop, or else she would just leave him. she wouldn't train him, wouldn't give him a second thought if he didn't really kick this tree's ass. she fingered the branch, lining it up parallel to her arm and busying herself by making graceful, strange martial art moves, using the stick to batter an unseen enemy. she twirled, ducked, and weaved, and then she was done, as quickly as she had started, and tossed the stick several yards away. she stared at him, waiting for him to do something with that chain.

Realizing his mistake, Danny left the comment about his name go without even acknowledging it. He was getting rusty, and needed to prove himself once again. This is gonna be fun, He thought, lips quirked up in amusement. He didn't even comment as she mocked her name, pretending that he hadn't heard it. No point in giving her that satisfaction as he'd already given her, and now he was just in it to re-prove himself. He knew he couldn't fuck up, otherwise she'd just taunt him and get to him for the rest of his life. Of course, even if that happened, well.. he only had a breaking point that he could withstand for so long.
Taking the chain from her, he shifted so he was on a new side of the tree where she'd left no marks. He hefted the chain in his hands, getting used to it's weight and girth, just waiting for the right moment to snake it out and strike. The temptation to fake it and pretend he had no idea was waving itself in front of his face, but he restrained it knowing that if he messed up, well.. She really would have something to taunt him about for the rest of his life. He tightened his grip slightly, and hearing his knuckles crack, that's when he swung the chain with a whip.
With a mighty crack that resounded through the forest, he yanked it back calmly, examining the fairly deep gouge left by the chain in the trunk of the tree. It looked about the same, if not deeper as the one she'd made, and he hadn't even used his full strength. With a smug smirk, he swing it again so that it wrapped around a branch, and he swung up and took a nasty kick at the branch above, which was fairly large, and with a groan it flew to the ground, and he flipped back and landed on another large branch, chain still in hand. He'd had practice, not neccessarily with gymnastics, but with evasive techniques, so he knew how to flip out and get out of the way.
Flipping back down and landed in a perfect stance, he whipped the chain at the tree once again, and with another resounding crack it flew through the air, making the gouge even deeper. Running up, he took another kick at it, and completely ignored the pain that coursed through his leg. He'd grown up with pain, so it was really no bother to him anymore, having learned to ignore it. Pain was weakness, as his parents always used to say to him before they'd beat him. He continued, beating mercilesly at the tree, and a couple of minutes later the finally stopped, and looked at Radella without saying anything, a smug look on his face. He'd left a nasty series of hits in the tree, something most argentum, or even atra wouldn't of been able to do. Still silent, he handed the chain back and crossed his arms, this time aware not to give her the satisfaction.

radella watched as he expertly maneuvered, kicking and thwapping the tree mecilessly. rad kept her face impassive and her eyes blank as she observed his style. he seemed certain that his masculinity was top notch, and that made her chuckle smugly. he could be superboy for now, but wait until rad got ahold of him. as he handed her back the chain, she ran her hands over it and cocked her eyebrow. i have to admit, you've got some skill, she quoted him, but i was just getting started. she skipped towards the tree, and as she went past danny she trained her hand around his hip. stand back, superboy, this'll be good.
rad got close to the ground, legs bent and palms pressed against the soil. one, she began in her head, and then she launched herself at the tree, her arm whipping out to hook the chain around a branch, like danny had did, only with more style. using it and running on pure momentum, she swung in large arcs around and around the branch. on the third spin, she let go of one end of the chain and landed percisely on a large limb sticking from the tree. she winked and clicked her tongue smugly at danny, before she reached up and swung herself up three branches. now she was near the top of the tree, and she merely jumped, falling like a stone five feet and then grabbing hold of one branch with one arm and swinging, hanging for a second.
she then used her leg, hooked it around the branch, and pulled herself up. her ab muscles showed through her tightfitting tank, her muscular legs supporting most of her weight behind darkwash, ripped jeans. again, she was standing on top of the branch, and when she jumped again she landed perfectly on the ground. but she wasn't done yet.
she had to one-up this guy if it killed her. so she dug through memories, back to martial arts class. oh. yeah. she snapped the chain out and then swung it at the trunk, using all her body weight to contribute to its momentum. CRACK! the bark made a much more solid sound than ronja's body had made, but she could deal. she gouged a large cut into its body, and she swung the chain around her head like a cowgirl before wrapping it around a tall branch and springing into the air, shoes battering the bark, and setting a punch in its side so hard that bark flew feet away.
by now, this had taken about five minutes, and she was done. she dropped to the ground, placed the chain around her waist like a belt, walked up to him, and cocked her eyebrow. how was that, superman?

Like her, while he watched, Danny hid his emotions in his eyes so she couldn't tell what he was thinking. He watched with a look of boredom in his eyes, while in his head was a completely different story. She was also a talented fighter, of which Danny was too, so he could already tell that there was going to be a lot of competition between the two of them. Because of how alike they were, it was obvious as day and night that neither were going to stop till they won once and for all.
He smirked slightly as he watched her jump around in the trees, almost like a monkey, with the way her feet hit them and her body angled through the air. He could tell that she was using some of the elements he'd shown when using the tree, but also bringing in new things to try and get ahead of the boy. But of course, he was never going to let that happen. He'd been trained for too long to lose to someone like her, as talented as she was trying to be. Just to annoy her, Danny glanced down at his grimy nails to examine them, but he was still watching her out of the corner of his vision, making sure that when he went, he wouldn't be copying her in a way that she lost any respect for him and his talents. After a moment he dropped his hands to his chest and crossed them, a smug look still on his features. He'd done this before, so he knew just watch he was gonna do. His body bounced slightly and he felt the dagger in his pantleg move slightly. He always kept in there, with a slight line that was concealed so he could grab it whenever necessary. It was made specially for him, so it fit perfectly for anything he needed to do.
When Radella dropped to the ground in front of him, all Danny could do was grin. Without taking the chain, he backed up and took a running start at the tree so he hit it and bounced up, flipping through the air while doing it, his body curled together in a way to miss the branches, but still be able to strike out if needed. After flying through, and standing about halfway up the tree, he steadied himself, and in a movement as swift as a cobra strike, he yanked the dagger out and flung it into a blank area where there was no branches protruding from the tree. Danny bounced up, his foot connecting heavily with one of the branches, which detached itself and sent splinters flying to the ground, showering where the girl was standing.
The dagger had also flown through a nice branch, as he'd planned, leaves and pins rained odwn on her also, from the edge of the branch being separated from the tree. He hopped up again, sending his body into a large branch that was a good foot in width, and a good two feet in size, he slammed into it so that it fell from the tree, and within a moment he continued without even being phazed. He could feel the splinters running through his shirt and tearing it, but he ignored them and continued, and bouncing on the trees, leaving deep gouges in them from Danny kicking at them. You could hear the groans of the wood breaking out beneath his feet, and that brought a smug look to his face. As soon as he reached the top of the tree, he hit the hilt of the dagger, which send it spiralling towards the ground, while Danny bounced up, above the height of trees, so he could be seen above them.
He began his descent to the ground, his body crashing through the branches gracefully so that they all shattered under him. The cracks could be heard throughout the forest, and he hit the ground all in all, speeding quickly, bouncing back up right near her. As soon as he landed, his hand struck out through the air and grabbed his dagger, that had been speeding quite quickly down towards the ground. Danny flicked his hair in amusement and glanced up at his path of destruction, which was in lines from where he'd been bouncing up on the different branches. Most of the branches were missing from him know, and the trees were significantly weaker from his feet connecting.

she watched him as he did a completely different dance, eventually showering her in bits of debris that got caught in her thick brown mane. scowling, she began to pick them out, because gawd knows she couldn't have dirty hair. but by the time he was done, she had already surveyed his level of carnage and figured out the tree could stand no more. flicking the last spliter from her hair, she placed her hands on her hips. alright, gymnastic boy, i think we've done enough to this tree. but she had saw and stored the way his body arced and moved, the way he looked when he was excited, powerful.
she ran a pale hand through her hair, never breaking his eye contact. what do ya say we call it even for now? just so we don't destroy the whole forest - no need to get cocky. her voice oozed sarcasm, but she was interested in doing other things beside jumping around in trees. fresh callouses adorned her hands, and she wasn't complaining - she had learned a totally new fighting style today, and it would only help her. but instead of fighting, she was now interested in danny hjimself. he was hot, she was sexy, what more could they want?
she wasn't about to come up to him, though. that would be a mucho blow to her pride. she would make him want her before she would give in to wanting him. she bit her lower lip as she smirked at him, her light eyes aglow with amusement. monkey boy, with a punch, she thought in her mind.he certainly was throwing her insides for a loop. if she could just see what was under that shirt...
no, shut up. her face replied carefully blank, emotionless. she made sure not to give anything away with her eyes either, because it would only be something he could use against her. but she wanted so badly to touch him...her grip on her lip hardened till she tasted blood. she wiped a hand across her mouth and looked at the crimson there. she rubbed it away and stared past him, trying to remember how to breathe.
oh, the woes of life.

He let out a snarky bit of laughter at her comment, but just smirked smugly. "Sorry to say, baby girl, but gymnastics are resevered for prettyboys and gay men." Fitting perfectly into his cocky gait, he flicked his hair out of his face once again, before continuing. "And I'm neither of the sort. Pretty just doesn't do me justice." As with hers, the last comment had been oozing sarcasm out it's back end. He was cocky and self-confident, but he wasn't THAT bad. It actually annoyed him when people were like that, but he knew there really wasn't too much eh could do about them. Besides kill them, maybe.
As he glanced down at his shirt, a frown tugged at his lips. There were many tears and splinters stuck through his shirt that it was practically useless to be wearing in the first place. His jeans were pretty torn up too, but there was no need to take those off... for now. Without thinking, his fingers clutched at the bottom of his shirt as he pulled it over his head, exposing his tanned chest, and tattooed arm. Immediately after, almost as a reflex, his hands soared to his hair to flatten it and make sure it wasn't messed up. He was almost OCD about his hair, getting annoyed any time it was messed up in any way shape or form. While taking his shirt off, he hadn't even realized of what Radella would be thinking, only that it would just be him taking off his shirt and stripping of some such. It didn't occur to him at all that maybe she'd stare at his tan, tattooed, sexy body. Nope, not one bit.
Okay, maybe a tiny bit, but that was the ego in him rising to the top. Generally he kept his ego to himself, knowing how damaging it could be if he did end up getting rejected sometime, but he was fairly careful about what he did and who he went after. Even so, today was time to play. Danny walked over to her, eyes ablaze with everything coursing through him. He showed some of it; the amusement that he felt, what he was going to get out of this. She was hot, what else was he supposed to do... play nice?
When he felt he was close enough to make a point, yet far enough so that he didn't mean like a stalker, which added up to about a foot and a half away from her, Danny cracked another smile, and just waited. His aroma wafted through the air, a bit of sweat mixed with mint and chocolate all in one. He had a special body wash that was his best friend when it came to attracting girls, working like a charm. He wanted to see her break down; something he could hold over her for quite some time.
