*- -It was the first time that Sephora had really been out of the chambers in quite a while. She had dressed herself in something that was suitable to go out in public, and then she had completed all of Apollo's commands. Once everything that needed to be done had been completed to perfection, she had asked Apollo's permission to go see Mischa. He honestly scared the hell out of her and she had been petrified to ask, but she had and he had granted her permission. She wouldn't be too long, a couple of hours and then she would go back to the home of the Atra fae to bring in bathwater for Apollo. Sephora was a punctual creature by nature; she had never been so much as five minutes late, especially when matters concerned Apollo. She tried very hard to be perfect for him, and it upset her when she fell short. She put in her all, every little bit of her that she had to try to please him, and it left a bruise on her heart everytime he yelled or was angry with her. Not that she would say that to him. No, she would be mortified if Apollo knew her feelings for him. That would be just ... bad. She didn't want to give him a reason to be upset with her, so that was something she would be keeping to herself. She wouldn't let him see how often he made her heart ache, although sometimes she doubted he would care, anyways. She was pleased that she was allowed to go see Mischa though. He let her have a fair bit of freedom on where she went, although she usually stuck around his chambers. The Atra fae frightened her far too much for her to want to go out and socialize.
*- -It felt so good to have the warm sun on her flesh. The fresh fall chill was still there, but it felt wonderful to Sephora. The fresh air, the feeling of being somewhere by herself- it was all just nice, and a big deal to her. She didn't socialize often. Mostly she hung around and did what Apollo told her to do. She was a slave, after all, that was her job. She did what she was told and on occasion, he threw her a bone. That was the way she had worked it out, anyways. She was good, she was fast and a little bit of a perfectionist. But she figured if she was good, he would allow her to do things like this, and it appearedthat she was right. She had put in an effort to look nice, making sure her clothing covered enough to be okay by Apollo. She was positively bouncing around in the sunlight, on the balls of her feet like the little fairy that she was. She was just so happy, she could probabky do a little dance and sing a little song and it would be great. She was in such a stellar mood, she didn't think she had ever felt so free and wonderful. Absently she checked the time on her watch. Of course she was planning on going back to the chambers on time without being ordered to do so. Being loyal was just in her blood. She bounced along cheerily, her face tipped up towards the sun to let it bathe her face. It was lovely, and for the first time in what felt like forever, she wasn't really afraid. She wasn't intimidated by all the atra fae or worried about slipping up and making Apollo angry at her- she was just happy. It was a feeling that she had missed, and she was fully enjoying it.
*- - She watched the sun up in the sky, took off her shoes and sat down on the wharf, letting her legs dangle over the side. One of the boards from the safety rail was at chest level, so she leaned on it and looked over into the ocean, kicking her bare legs. It was beautiful up here, and even though she had to glamour her ears to rid herself of the points. She ran her fingers through her hair, tipping her head back to let the salty air blow through her hair. She did love the beach and she thought that she would probably like it if she could live here. If the opportunity ever arose, she would do that. Live by the ocean in a cute little cottage. That all sounded quite nice to her, but she knew that she would never leave Apollo. No matter what he did to her, how bruised he made her heart and how many times he made her cry, she cared for him. She had feelings, although she wasn't really sure what to do with them. She surely couldn't tell him. So, she would have to show him through her loyalty and her efforts to keep him happy. She swung her legs, humming to herself and resting her chin on the board. She wasn't really sure where Mischa was, but she had told the mortal that she would be on the boardwalk and she would meet her there. She was so excited to see her. She loved Mischa more than life and would definitely call the other her best friend. Sephora hadn't had a best friend her whole life. She was so happy to have Mischa to tell things to and just...feel comfortable with. Especially when all of the Atra fae just made her so scared and uncomfortable. It was so nice to have a friend that didn't terrify her, somebody that she could tell things and could just...be normal with. Not that she had ever been totally normal, but at least at home with her parents she was considered higher class. They were both members of the court, making her a member of the court when she grew up. It was odd for her to no longer have that. But with Mischa, none of that really mattered. she was definitely looking forward to seeing the girl.

Post by MISCHA IVANOVA ! on Sept 12, 2009 15:29:14 GMT -5
She couldn't fix her hair the way she wanted to do it. There was no way this was going to be a good day if she couldn't even get her hair to work! Squirming in the seat placed in front of her Vanity, Mischa sighed, looking at the wreckage she called her hair. She was suppose to go see Sephora today and it had been a long time since the pair had been able to speak. No wonder she was so nervous about it. Pulling all of the long, black hair back in both her hands, Mischa let her body send a shiver across the skin. It wasn't that Sephora made her feel inadiquite or something. Sephora and Mischa were incredibly close. Even with Sephora under capture of the Atra court or what ever they were called, the pair seemed to be able to hang out still. She rubbed her temples before standing up, just letting the wreck of her hair stay the way it was. Her bangs weren't cooperating, her curls wouldn't go straight today. It was whatever. She'd let it do whatever it wanted her to do.
Though technically the girl wasn't off work, she would just sneak out of the house when the family wasn't paying attention. The man of the house or how ever he called himself, was out at work at the moment. His wife had been busy tryign to cook something but fell asleep on the couch as she often seemed to do. The rest? Mischa hadn't exactly looked for just yet. Looking over her shoulder, the girl pushed herself out of the chair. She wasn't complaining, she didn't mind her job. It was pretty much playing nana for the family. She got to have the room above part of the garage and in return they gave her payment for cleaning, babysitting and what ever else they needed. Only down side was they could call on her when ever they needed her. That included ridiculous hours of the night. A few nights ago they had some family over who had a six year old boy. Somehow the little brat had managed to figure out where Mischa's room was and at about four twenty five in the morning, he came in informing her that he'd peed onto the roof. How the little brat managed to do that, she still hadn't wrapped her mind around it entirely.
But whatever. Right now most everyone was busy and she could just leave through the garage she supposed. Part of her wanted to go through the house, though. To see if she could run into Ryuu....Some how that man made all her adrenaline rush through every inch of her body and drive her insane. Maybe it was her ridiculous little school-girl crush on him that made her want to see the boy. Though he never paid much attention to her. She felt rather pathetic and like a two year old around him. Always blushing or getting embarassed with what ever he said or even when he just looked at her. She'd definately ramble on about the boy to Sephora. Shit, Sephora! She was running late! Her mind had done as it often did and got all wrapped up in her thoughts forgetting the two had plans today. Scrambling about, she slipped into her favorite tan heels running out of the house quickly. The flaps of the white dress flowing with Mischa's fast-paced walk as she moved. It wasn't a far walk or a long time before she'd managed to reach the boardwalk, and she could already see a slender, tiny body sitting down swinging its feet.
That had to be Sephora. Even the silouette was incredibly gorgeous, it was something Mischa was jealous of. It was goin to be a lovely day. Not just due to the nice weather or anything, but also partly because of the fact she finally was going to see her long dearest friend. Apollo - the fae holding her as his slave - often times seemed to keep her wrapped up in his room. And never let her out or leave. Feeling the wind pick up a tiny bit, Mischa pushed her fingers through her hair before walking up to the girl. Smiling, she gave a gentle wave before wrapping her thin stick like arms around the girl. "Mon cheri, Sephora! I've missed you." Mischa had recently been recovering from her little spat with bulimia. Which was a main reason she moved away from Russia to here. To get away from the influences she had been under. Thank god she met Sephora too. The girl helped her so much with that issue there was no way she'd ever be aware of how much she owed Sephora.

*- -Sephora felt a little weird so far away from Apollo. It had been a while since there had been this much distance between them, and although it didn't feel bad, it certainly felt weird and different. Like a dog that had been let off of it's leash for a while, but she didn't like being compared to a dog. It was a good metaphor, though- she felt as though Apollo always kept her on a close leash. She never went far, even when she was given the choice. The Atra always seemed so vicious, and to be honest they scared her quite a bit. She was afraid they would like eat her, or say something mean to her. Sure it was stupid, because she belonged to Apollo and she knew he would be upset if somebody did something awful to her, but she couldn't help but feel that little twinge of fear. She preferred to stay in Apollo's quarters where she was nice and safe and nobody would see her but him. Besides, she always had duties to attend to like floors to wash or things to tidy. She was a clean person to begin with, but now even more so. Freedom was something that she certainly missed, although she did consider herself fortunate that Apollo didn't keep her locked in a closet or something. He did allow her to move about freely, and that made her happy. Especially now when she had a chance to see her friend Mischa. Sephora totally loved the petite mortal, more than almost anybody. They just seemed to click and Mischa didn't make her afraid or nervous, just happy. She always felt like she could be herself with Mischa and not have to worry aboutbeing hurt or judged or something similar to that. She justr felt totally comfortable and at home with the other girl and she hoped that Mischa felt the same way. After all, that was what best friends did, wasn't it? They told eachother things and they shared secrets and overall they just felt comfortable with one another.
*- -the wind picked up and blew her hair everywhere, although Sephora certainly wasn't complaining. She enjoyed the salty breeze, the way it smelled like ocean and sand and heat and the way it felt on her flesh. It was funny how something as simple as a breeze could feel so amazing the way it skimmed over her skin, but she was sure that she could sit there for hours. The warm sun on her skin made her nearly euphoric, and she was sure that she could jump up and dance and dance for hours. Until the moon came up. She laid back on the ground for a second, staring up at the sky. It was so clear except for the occasional cloud floating by. It was breathtaking, in Sephora's opinion, but she didn't really get out very often. She was so happy to see her Mischa, she considered squealing for joy but figured she would wait until the appearence of the other petite brunette before she celebrated. Sitting back up, she leaned against the board, watching the waves froth far beneath her feet. It looked like a long drop and she felt slightly sick when she realized that, scooting back an inch or two and holding onto the board more tightly. She was definitely afraid of heights and she didn't want to fall- plus, she couldn't swim at all. She had never learned. She had never needed to learn, and so she made a good effort to stay far away from large bodies of water. She did kind of want to put her feet in it, but she'd talk Mischa into that later. She swung her legs slowly and deliberately, holding onto the bar. She loved the way the air smelled. She hoped that maybe she could see a dolphin or something out in the ocean, even though the idea of fish freaked her out. Slimy legless things living in a giant puddle? Yeah, that was just scary. It freaked her out. It was weird to think about, in her opinion.
*- -Sephora was happily swinging her legs and enjoying the wind and sunshine when somebody flung their arms around her. She looked around and was pleased to hear her friend. "Mischa!" She squeed, and turned around to wrap her arms around the other female, hugging her tight. "I missed you soooo much, too!" She seemed to have forgotten where they were, she was just so happy to see the other girl. Sephora would have happily remained attached to the girl for the rest of the night, but that wouldn't be very fun, so she reluctantly released the other. "I loveeee you." She told the girl, smiling all cheerfully. Sephora couldn't remember the last time she had ever used those words. Probably with her mother or maybe her father while she was at home. She didn't tell Apollo she loved him, or anybody else. She did love Mischa though, and since she wasn't afraid of Mischa, she wasn't afraid to say that. She wasn't worried about Mischa rejecting her because she knew Mischa loved her as well. She was afraid of rejection, and perhaps that was why she had yet to hint to Apollo about her blooming feelings for him. She was afraid he would be angry or yell or not feel the same way, so Sephora would stick to only telling her feelings to people when she knew they felt the same way for her. It made for less awkward situations. Besides, when she knew that they felt the same about her, it meant she couldn't be rejected and it wouldn't be yet another blow to her bruised little heart. Maybe she liked playing it safe. Her bright eyes lit up at the sight of her best friend, and Sephora honestly thought she was on top of the world. She couldn't possibly be happier.
