Amaya wiped the sweat from her brow as she finished cleaning the wood floors of the studio. She came in a few hours earlier to make sure the studio was clean before classes began. It was a small building located in town center with a large window that made the studio visible to the public. She tried her best to make the place more inviting so people would come in to inquire about classes. She did however have curtains set up near the windows in case her students wanted privacy. 'Now what to do? My class doesn't start for another two hours' she thought as she walked over to a small bench located near the main desk. There sitting was her bag with her ballet shoes and spare dance uniform. She took the shoes out of her bag and tied them on her feet.
'It wouldn't hurt to dance a little before class' she thought with a delicate smile on her soft pink lips. She pressed play on the cd player on the desk, and one of her favorite songs began to play. She soon found herself dancing gracefully with the music. Her mind began to drift to how things have come to be, from having her freedom nearly ripped from her to having it yet being quite lonely. True, she was friends with her co-workers and students, but none whom she felt extremely close to.
She continued to dance as the music continued to play, despite the soft sound of the bell ringing as the door was opened. She was too engrossed in the music and the dance to really pay attention. Once the music slowed and ended, she stopped, hearing a clapping coming from over near the desk. She quickly turned her head towards the sound, her cheeks a soft pink color. "Oh, I'm terribly sorry, is there anything I can help you with?" she asked the person, her voice showing how flustered she was.

Soleil was on his way home from grocery shopping, a slightly disappointed look on his face. He worked at the grocery store, and it was sort of lame to have to go there on his day off. But it's what he deserved for forgetting to get everything after his shift the day before. The fae sighed and shifted the grocery bags from one hand to the other. He looked right and left, then crossed the street. His apartment was very close to here, and as he was about to enter an alleyway that he always took on his way home he couldn't help but remember the incident that had taken place there some days ago.
Someone was running from someone else, and they used Soleil as a tool in their escape. He'd been grabbed and flung at the guy who was chasing him. They both tumbled to the concret, Soleil beneath the other male --and he distinctly remembered the feel of lean muscle beneath those clothes-- and then he was blamed for everything and slammed into the side of a car a couple of times. He was still bruised form the incident, yet he couldn't help but feel his cheeks warm a little, and his lips curve into a private little smile.
His eyes landed on a sign and he stopped walking, just before the alley. A Ballet Studio? Soleil had heard some things about ballet, but he'd never actually seen it done or performed, in all of his time spent pretending to be a human. He'd only recently come back to Richmon, and this studio hadn't been here when he left. Curiosity took over and he crossed the street again, the entered through the door. A little bell signaled his entrance, but he didn't really notice, his attention drawn by the sound of the music. He walked toward another doorway, and then found himself watching a petite and lovely woman dancing over the shiny wood of the studio.
Soleil instantly fell in love. With Ballet that is. The movements were so graceful, so beautiful...
When the music stopped, he found himself clapping without really meaning to, his eyes twinkling with joy.
'Oh, I'm terribly sorry, is there anything I can help you with?'
The colour rose to his cheeks again, and he blinked a few times. What did he want? Had he just wanted to watch? Did he want to learn? Did he have time to learn? Probably not.
"Oh...ah I'm sorry for intruding. I was the sign for the studio...and curiosity sort of took me over..."

"Oh, it's alright. I was just dancing before class started and since no one comes until class begins, I wasn't expecting an audience" she said with a soft, sheepish giggle before walking over to the newcomer. "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Amaya Murasaki, I'm one of the instructors at this studio. We just opened a few months ago though we don't do as much business as others, we do fairly well" she said cheerfully as she went over to the desk to grab a binder, and sat down on the bench near by. "And who might you be?" she asked, offering him a seat as she studied him from where she was.
She had to admit, he was very handsome though she had a small crush on someone else, she could at the very least admire his beauty. "So, if you're interested in ballet, I do have a few classes available" she said, opening her binder and looking through the calendars. Finally after flipping through Marie's and Sergei's classes, she finally reached hers. "It looks like the next beginning adult class will start next week if you're interested that is" she said in her cheerful voice.
She always got excited when people showed interest in ballet. Despite being a good dancer, many signed up with Marie or Sergei simply because they had once toured with famous ballet troupes in Europe. 'I may not have done that yet, but I'm still just as good' she thought to herself as she pulled a bottle of water from her bag, and took a small sip.

He listened to the petite woman and he couldn't help but smile. She was very kind. In that moment he decided that he would at least consider taking lessons. It would more than likely turn out to be something that wasn't for him, but he felt the urge to keep her happy for some reason. Perhaps it was that he wasn't accustomed to kindness, especially from strangerrs. He wasn't sure what it was, but he knew for certain it wasn't a spell. Soleil was aware of what a spell would have felt like.
"It is nice to meet you....I am Alexis Kwan." He used a fake name due to habit. It was never safe for anyone, mortal or immortal, to posess any bit of his name. Alexis was his middle name however, so perhaps he'd have to start using a new first name, though on the other hand people would assume that he wouldn't use any part of his name, so they would maybe assume Alexis to be a fake name and consider it no further. He'd decide on it when he got home.
"Ah..thank you for letting me know. But I will have to think on it, I might be moving from the area, so signing up here would be pointless." It wasn't a full lie, it was coming close to the time frame he'd set for moving from place to place. He would not yet leave the city, but he would move to a different district, just to be safe. He would leave Richmond in about two years, and he mourned the loss already. Soleil cleared his mind, "Could I perhaps observe one of your classes? It might help me decide..."
